ABOUT ME

I am a very open-minded individual with a big imagination and a big heart. I create and appreciate all forms of visual arts, abstract and whimsical paintings in particular. Yoga and the outdoors are my passion. I love traveling and meeting new people. I feel "at home" everywhere I go.

PHILOSOPHY

We’re here from point A to point B and between those points is our journey- our life. Some journeys are long some last seconds. Some are more exciting than others, but we ultimately choose our own path. Life is amazing and I really enjoy everything that it gives me: the love, the joy, the struggles and the lessons. I’m not religious, but I respect others beliefs. As for my own religious view: “Pirates... or Ninjas?.. I choose CAKE!!!”

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first discovered CS when I opened my doors to a total stranger in Bordeaux, France. I later traveled and "couch-surfed" around Europe. Now, I'm studying on an exchange in Okazaiki, Japan, and living with a host family.I'm available for a coffee or a drink.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have “couchsurfed” on numerous occasions except never through this website, but through friends and friends of friends. I was amazed to discover that such a network exists and couldn't wait to be a part of it!

I've hosted my very first CS (Kamila) for the weekend of March 26-28, 2011. I've also "surfed" at numerous places throughout Europe and in Osaka, Japan.

Interessen

Visual arts are my passion: painting, drawing, crafting, photography… I also really enjoy the outdoors- hiking, camping, scuba-diving, spending a day at the beach or on the lake. I love nature and all that it gives us. I also practice yoga. I like socializing and meeting new people. Dancing, especially salsa. I also have an interest in learning languages and Etymology - the facts relating to the formation or derivation of words.

I get along with pretty much everyone, and I believe we all can learn from one another if we choose to put aside our differences. I love learning new languages,cultural customs, food recipes, songs and stories.

I can help you learn English,Russian or French. I can also teach you some yoga, painting and drawing techniques, and show you how to make a borscht.
