About Me
Hello/bonjour tout le monde -
I am an Australian student finishing up my semester abroad in Grenoble, France. As much as I love my home life & what I study I won't be returning to Adelaide - I have decided to take six months off and explore some regions, cultures and people that are unfamiliar to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am an incredibly curious soul and nothing interests me more than discovering how others have lived, or are continuing to live, in the wonderful ways that they do.
Interests
The written word, having a good groove, hiking & the outdoors, test cricket, anything food/wine/beer related, music, art & its history, the wonderful world of podcasts, evenings spent by an open fire in the company of my family, long wine-fuelled lunches with those I love most...

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to put here, but my current favourites are:
Saskwatch (Australian soul band) / The National / Beirut / Billy Bragg & Wilco collaborations
Billy Elliot / The Secret Garden / The Piano / Babel
The Secret History - Donna Tartt / Family Matters - Rohinton Mistry / The Narrow Road to the Deep North - Richard Flanagan / As I Lay Dying - William Faulkner
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Was apparently one of the first 16-year-olds to embark on a solo travel experience throughout Britain and France, according to the customs officials I encountered!
What I Can Share with Hosts
