Sadly I'm not very available at the moment because I'm very busy finishing my PhD, but from time to time I hope to manage some meeting or showing you around the city.

ABOUT ME

Hey there,
I'm Julia, half German, half Romanian, communicative, but also a good listener, I like to travel, meet new people and cultures, see things, learn something, get in contact with different ways of living, thinking, doing and eating of course. I'm also interested in languages.
I like the sun, the sea, the mountains, the woods, meeting friends, having coffee and a lot of ice creams, reading, swimming, cycling, listen to music, dancing, going to concerts and museums, old bookshops, libraries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried CS first in Turkey, than in Italy and England, and I hosted too, both was great. I met very nice people, with some of them I'm still in touch and happy about it. I'm enthusiastic about the fact that there are people who trust in someone they barley know, about spontaneity and living the moment.

Interests

Meeting new people, family and friends, travelling, reading, languages, literature, swimming, cycling, music, art, the sea, food, hiking, coffee, sweets, theater, having a barbecue and beer with friends, movies, opera, cooking, joking, to laugh, the sun, looking at the sky and see with eyes wide shut.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I enjoyed very much the experiences I made abroad, like one year Erasmus in Bologna, Italy, 7 months in Cluj, Romania, and two in Bucharest. Taking the train from Bucharest to Istanbul and arrive while the sun sets.
To travel all alone and to notice afterwards that I didn't feel lonely.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always eager to learn and I like to teach the things I'm able to teach like German (very bad), Italian, Romanian, how to do a Kefir or to do just nothing (it's a real gift).
