About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See as much of the world and the people in it as possible, hopefully incorporating that in a profession one day. Also, becoming a badass documentary maker and battling stereotypes on refugees, unveiling issues caused by national identity formation would be awesome. Dream big.

ABOUT ME

In a few words; cat lover, film fanatic, passionate cook (and dinner guest), adventurous (or impulsive) traveller, wannabe photographer and very talented at sleeping in any place you can think of.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent quite some time on many couches in Indonesia, Egypt, Hungary, France, Jordan, Israel and some other places. In addition, during the summer of 2015, I spent three weeks hitchhiking and couch surfing around Iceland. So lots of experience, through couchsurfing and friends.

Interests

Photography, literature, travelling, music, food, hiking, collecting anything old.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love awkward unknown French arthouse films, or anything directed by Wes Anderson, the Coen Brothers or Paolo Sorrentino. Absolute favourite of the last year: Boyhood. Currently reading Haruki Murakami and trying to get through Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights for the third time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to a boarding school in Italy for two years in a small village on the Adriatic Sea with 200 peers, an experience which really opened up my 16-year-old-self to travelling, intercultural understanding and sustainability.

In 2015, I visited Iceland for three weeks without any preparation but packing camping gear. Me and my two friends ended up crossing the entire country, camping and hitchhiking our way through, meeting the nicest people and seeing the grandest natural phenomena during the trip.

I spent a couple of nights in the Jordanian desert, sleeping under the stars, cooking meals in the sand and enjoying the absolute quiet and playing games with our hosts by the fire.

Teach, Learn, Share

Show a bit of my country, culture and myself to others, while enjoying the same from them. Generally just to have a good time!
