About Me

Why not?
I am openminded and I love meeting people from all over the world. Thats why I like traveling so much. You meet those people and they are all open and you share different experiences in your live. You make friends and start having great conversations about their habits, mistakes, what makes them happy and maybe about their countries and politics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend told me about couchsurfing and a lot of nice stories about people she met. So I thought, well, why should I just sleep in hostels when there are open people who offer me their couch and like to talk and meet people from all over the world? I love to discover new things, so I just thought I should try it, maybe I will love it.

Interests

I love to be outside. In cities I like to get lost and just walk and walk and walk and see what happens during the day. I love meeting people. I prefer going to museums and just watch pictures instead of watching television. As sports I practice yoga and I started meditation, but its so hard. I love dancing a lot and moving my body to my perception of the music surrounding me. For me dancing is some kind of healing self opening process bla bla :)
Since this year I started learning the harmonica. But I think it will take some more hours until someone wants to listen to the noise ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Sometimes music is the only reason to stay inside. Put Sidsel Endresen or some jazz music on and just relax in your bed. I like Portishead, Radiohead, Karkwa, Adam Green, Beatles, The National. Just music with good lyrics and calm rhythm is all I prefer at the moment.
And of course there are those days when you just want to watch movies. Its hard to decide, I like a lot of different one. I like documentary but also arty weird ones. The last movie I loved was "Made in Mexico". And I still think about "Basquiat".
Books are always nice, i wish i would read more. My sister is always forcing me to read more. But I think I don't want spend to much time at home, so i don't take my time to read. The las book I liked was "Ueberdog" .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked 600 km from Pamplona to Santiago. It was the nicest thing I have done so far. Just walking everyday in the nature, meeting people from all over and get all those impressions. It feels like I discovered a tiny box filled with amazing sounds, photos, smells and great ideas. Mh it was good.
