About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get to know what it means to be alive.

ABOUT ME

I am a woman who has traveled through nearly 50 countries and has lived in seven. I have been living in England, my 'home' country, for 4 years now. I have been travelling around Europe with the idea of opening to a new life. It takes trust and amazing things have happened. The unexpected meeting is a date! I have had so many doors open to me. It is inspiring.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a writer. This is my latest book: www.on-intimacy.com

I am interested in Philosophy and Depth Psychology. I meditate. I play tennis. I give some therapy sessions over Skype. I play the trumpet in a couple of bands (one a cool swing band the other an uncool brass band - love them both). I like reading and writing poetry

here are some poems: https://m.facebook.com/on.intimacy/

I am travelling with my trumpet and tennis raquet. My mission possible is to find people to play with!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed in quite a few people's houses so far. I feel it is the new society of people open to meeting other people who are (presently) strangers. It feels like a political action to create a new paradigm that people are kind and good and not to be feared (let's throw away the newspapers!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I so love the idea of people helping out people, meeting like minds and enriching through a couple of nights of shared experiences. This is what the world needs to break down barriers between us creatures aiming to become humans.

Interests

I love to talk about being human. I love psychology and poetry. I write essays and also a poem a day in peace on facebook. I love to travel. I like to be quiet. When I'm with people, I am said to be really good company. I love meeting new interesting people and learning from them. I am easily to talk with, and have lived the majority of my life out of the box.

Music, Movies, and Books

Erm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A raft journey on 6 logs down the Rio Madre de Dios for 11 days...just like Che Guavara! No map, no guide, just us! It´s foolish now to think about it, but what an adventure at the time!

I have travelled for a couple of decades and have done a lot of 'amazing' stuff, but one thing is publishing a book (a journey to the inner worlds!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love open minded people with new ideas.

Recently I learnt to make flutes from bamboo or cane...that's amazing to make an instrument from material you normally stick in the ground!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Me? Thee. A pocket of life...
