I'm Julia - originally from Austria and soon moving to Canada. Before I worked and lived in Australia for 9 months, New Zealand for 6 months, in London over a year and in Switzerland for three years.
Always looking for new ways to explore new contries and cities :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

CS is such a great platform, glad a friend of mine introduced me to it year's ago.
+ Great to meet local people from the city you wanna visit. Travelling and discovering cities/areas with the help and insider tips of a "native" makes the journey 100 times better
+ If I am not able to go on holidays or travelling I can invite people to my house so I can get in touch with other people from different nationalities :)
+ CS organises small/big events in my area where I've already met really interesting people.

Interessen

Pretty much everything outdoors! Bought some camping stuff to hopfully exploring Canada soon.
Other than that I love music, dancing salsa, skiing, mtb, hiking, scuba diving, snorkelling and listening to life stories of different people from other nationalities.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Moved to London without a job, flat and plan.
Turned out as my best year. I found new really good friends and had an amazing job with great colleagues.
Really fell in love with travelling and since then I am no longer scared of moving and living in other countries.
