Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am travelling and hosting surfers because I think it´s the perfect network to get to know a people & cultures in such an authentic way! Additionally I want to contribute sth to this exelent trust-basted, non monetary system which helpes to reduce prejudices and cultural&linguistic barriers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted surfers from Chile, UK and Argentina which I enjoyed a lot, we had a really good time together in Vienna!! When I was surfing in Chile, Argentina, Spain and Brasil I made really great experiences with cs!! I´m always amazed of this brilliant system of giving and taking which somehow balances out within the system :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

concerning music I love dancy music like salsa, bachata, merengue, cumbia....and currently I really like spanish rock :D I don´t watch TV, but sometimes I enjoy movies with deeper messages which make me think differently or reflect things like I never did before...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was backpacking 3 month in Southamerica, exploring a huge variety of cultures, food, point of views, mountains, landscapes, lifestyles, cities...surfing on the wave of trusting in life :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I offer knowledge or skills about: Foodcooperations, Foodsharing, Ecological Footprint, tipical Austrian Songs & Food, Biocosmetics, how to use wild herbs, dancing (walz, salsa, bachata, kizomba, chachacha, jive), ingenería mécanica, concept of reduce-reuse-recycle, climbing, orientation with maps in the wilderness, theory of snow and avalanches in order to plan skitouring excursions, technique for climbing and crawl.

I´d like to learn more about: cosmovision andina, buen vivir, yoga, playing the guitar, meditation, different lifestyles, languages and point of views, Urban gardening, innovative upcycling ideas, medical plants,....basically I´m interested in nearly everything ^^

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my (small) room with you and I can offer to show you round in Vienna and having a great time! I´m very active, so if you want we do some activities and sports together because there´s a lot of stuff to do in this city :D
