Well to describe yourself for me always seems rather hard. I don´t know if it is the same for you other travel addicts but I always seem to change over and over again and again. I love to totally melt into a new place and thereby it nearly always happens that I loose a bit of my old self and find a lot of new inspirations. Still to give you more or less an idea of who you are going to host or be hosted by I will give a quick descriptions. Similar to many other travelers I am really open minded, adventure seeking and always on the search for a new culture to jump into and become a part of. I love traveling but feel like I am missing out when I am only staying in hostels. It excites me to get to know a city through the eyes of another person, there favourite café, graffiti, jazz bar or roof terrace. These tiny things are what give a city or country its magic. Especially in the last year I started to develop my love for hiking and camping. So if know a nice trail or mountain to explore I will be thankful forever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ups yeah what you read earlier already explains pretty good why I´m on Couchsurfing, but just to sum it up. I love to meet people, their friends, maybe even family and get to know a place from their perspective. It intrigues me when I am at a place where no other tourist is, but instead open minded people who might want to share their view point, language and what ever else they offer.

Interests

Okay I could probably give you a whole list know of what I like to do and that would take a long time for me to write and would be boring for you guys to read. The short form: I´m in for everything! When I travel everything is open and I always love to try out new things if its ultimate Frisbee or a drum circle. In Maastricht (where I live at the moment) I love to go to jam sessions, play volleyball and dance salsa! I love to do many things at the same time, run around from one thing to the next. Equally as much I really enjoy to just sit on a terrace, drink wine, cook together and go for some hikes. Oh yeah and I am a sucker for water sports in all forms and variations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I hiked the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. It was a very challenging time physically and emotionally but amazingly rewarding. I met a lot of incredible people who shared this journey and experiences with me.
