Greetings from Lake Tahoe!

We have been living in South Lake Tahoe now for a decade. Erik lived in Bavaria for 5 yrs, Prague for 4, and Kiev for 8 yrs.

We've had dozens of people stay with us in Kiev, and every time was a great experience.

We'll be visiting Amsterdam, Paris Prague, Ukraine and Austria this September... 2 adults and a 13 year old daughter.

Can't wait to get there!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best thing about CS is the ability to meet other people... we can't wait to travel in our RV across the US and meet other like-minded people and families... we won't even need a couch... we're using CS to meet people along the way.

Musica, film e libri

Movies? Too many to list... Music? Mostly Classic Rock and Roll... the concerts in Europe are the best! The greatest concerts I've been to are the Wall in Berlin, 1990... dancing with Chuck Berry in Salzburg, Austria, Roger Waters at the Shoreline (SF Bay) and a small courtyard concert of Elton John in Salzburg (not to mention the many of the Grateful Dead, best one was in Frankfurt, Germany, 1990.

Books? Mostly philosophical and non-fiction... but I did read all of the classics from the local library here in Ukraine.

Julia has lived in Poland for 8 years, she speaks perfect Polish. Erik has lived in Germany, Prague and Ukraine. Erik has traveled all over Europe, North America, and has been to Thailand as well.

Julia has a customs law degree in Ukraine and teaching degree in Polish. I teach American conversation here in Kiev (part-time) and am a self taught web developer and flash designer (sanfranciscobay.com).... etc...
