About Me
ABOUT ME
By trade, i'm a freelance journalist
i've lived in montreal, toronto and brooklyn and have loved them all.
as a guest, i'm easy. we can hang out casually, have a quiet dinner or a crazy night of partying... or you can leave me to my own devices and ill enjoy that just as much. i'll be out all day visiting museums, restaurants and wandering around your beautiful city. if you have a kitchen ill probably use it a little, and i can make you dinner if you're into it! i always clean up.
PHILOSOPHY
i love healthy local organic food and all but will I ever refuse a deep fried mars bar? hell no.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This is my first time using couchsurfing, though former roomies of mine have had couchsurfers wandering through and it's always been positive. i think free/low-cost traveling is super important and when i'm done being a nomad, i'll definitely have a couch and some food to share wherever i end up.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
many amazing couch surfing experiences (particularly in spain) where we raved all night and beached all day.
Interests
radical queer politics, pop science (they bred glow in the dark cats recently!), feminism, sustainable urban development, modern dance, jokes, biking, performance art, pretending to be rich, mountain climbing, sharing a bottle of wine
i'm also something of an architectural tourist. meaning i like walking around and looking at old things.
