ABOUT ME

we've been married a long time at this point and have a wonderful home that we love to share with wayward strangers.

as far as our "normal" lives are concerned, i (julia) am a composer and adventurer at heart. i love meeting new people that want to show me all there is to know about their cities and take me to the interesting places that are not in the guide books. kurt is a rocker by night and criminology student by day. he'll talk your ear off about man or astroman? or the coming zombie apocalypse any day. also, we both love fine beers, bourbons and dancing. we have a fat old basset hound who will try to cuddle you to death if you sit in her spot on the couch. our house is large and we have one awesome roommate as well as a guest room with a bed for 2 that doubles as my office. you're usually welcome to sleep in it as long as you're up and about by noon or so, so i can get work done. i usually work on the weekends, so visits between sunday - wednesday are optimal.
