About Me

CURRENT MISSION

LEARN

ABOUT ME

I lived in Colombia for a year in 2010 -2011 and still on a bit of a high from it. I go wherever my passion for music takes me. Otherwise, I work in an organisation that promotes better media about the wider world while going to see as much music as possible here in London. Getting itchy feet is a common feeling though! Let's see where I end up in the world..

PHILOSOPHY

Always try and put yourself outside of your comfort zone..this is when you really experience life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed with and met with really great people in Portugal and Spain. I have hosted once in Colombia and would love to more here, but unfortunately I live with quite a few people and there is no space at the moment!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met with lovely people in Spain and Colombia. They all helped me with my spanish and showed me things i wouldn't have done/found on my own. Haven't technically 'couch surfed' yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I live for music. My main focus is Afro-Latin music but I open to everything. Rhythm is what moves me. Percussion-heavy music in that case!

Sans Soleil by Chris Marker is the best film ever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Salvador da Bahia, Brazil 2007.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always learning Spanish, as well as lots of percussion instruments. Always wanting to learn as much music and dance from whereever i go!

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
