Music, Movies, and Books
I like art that makes me think and feel. Currently I'm enjoying watching the Marvelous Mrs. Maizel and Schitt's Creek, listening to Kurt Vile and a splash of pop music, and reading about meditation. Last book I read was Wild by Cheryl Strayed.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not one to toot my own horn, but here's something I've done that my sister said was amazing:
When I was a tween (12 maybe?) I was a bit of a snot. She'd had enough of me and wrote a sticky note and pasted it to the inside of my bedroom door. It said, "You forget that this marks the edge of where you are the boss, so I remind you now." She meant it as a jab, but I saw truth in it. So I kept it up, brought it to college with me, and later had it pasted on the inside of my bedroom door after I graduated and had my own apartment. So, it stayed with me for about 15 years.
I guess I'm somebody with fierce and passionately held opinions/beliefs, yet remarkably open to having my mind changed. Super empathetic and open -- that's me.
