About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To finish my master's thesis and finally be done with school, FOREVER!

ABOUT ME

My passions in life are animals and music. Whenever I have the chance to go to a show or festival, I'm right there in the front screaming my heart out. I go to school in Uppsala and have on more semester to go until my license to practice Veterinary Medicine is in my hand. Right now, I study and work. I'm currently planning my next trip: Central America in Febuary!

PHILOSOPHY

Everything will be alright.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not been able to host due to housing situations, but hope to now. I have surfed in New Zealand and the US, and hope to continue surfing when I leave for my next trip.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only a few so far, but they have been very great :D CS has really opened my eyes towards how easy it is to meet really great people no matter where in the world you go.

Interests

Going to awesome shows, playing with my horses, playing with my dogs, animals in general, throwing great parties, drinking beer in the park, swimming in the ocean, riding my bike to the beach in the summer, meeting new friends, meeting old friends, experiencing life, learning how to make new sounds with my body, playing my guitar as loud as I can, blasting my stereo on full volume in my apartment with all the windows open, laughing louder than everybody else, horse back riding with my mom, baking cakes, listening to stories from around the world, reading great books, and traveling the planet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot, but two of the best books I've ever read are Thousand Splendid Suns and Kite Runner. The best movie in the world will always be SLC Punk.I love rock. These days I enjoy listening to Green Day, Mötley Crue, Crashdiet, Aerosmith, My Chemical Romance, The Loved Ones, Social Distortion, Buckcherry, Sum 41, Hardcore Superstar, The Hellacopters, Backyard Babies, The Distillers, Teddybears, and so on. Everything that gets a party or a good moshpit going :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During an awesome Green Day show in Stockholm the bassist (Mike) picked me out of the screaming sea of people to be dragged up on stage by the guards so I could sing the second verse in Longview, and during the chorus I shared the mic with the singer (Billie Joe). The kick I got from it was so out of this world! I have never experienced anything like it before or after.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an excellent riding instructor, although I don't have a good horse to teach beginners on at the moment. I am awesome at communicating with animals (body language and such) and also really good at coming up with random adventures that make an ordinary day extraordinary. I would like to learn how to surf and how to play the harmonica.
