About Me

Hi! My name is Julia, and I'm from Córdoba, Argentina. I'm 20 years old.
After finishing school I've traveled to France, and I've been living in Paris for almost for a year. Now it's my time to have some holidays so I will do a two months trip all around Europe. As I will be doing the travel by myself and my camera I think that doing couchsurfing is the best way to meet some people to amuse myself and share the differents cities that I'll be travelling.
I love to meet new people and cultures (specialy food!!!), and besides I would like to travel all around the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because I thinks it's a lovely way to get to know people and places. I don't think you really get to know a place unless you establish some kind of contac with someone native, because that's the real life of where you're traveling.
I'm really looking forward to make a lot of friends from all over the word!

Interests

I'm really keen on arts. I would like to study cinema and dramatic arts someday. I'm also in love with photografy, because it gives you the oportunity to inmortalize a moment.
I also enjoy reading, and I am really good at doing crafts!
And a moment that I enjoy deeply is cooking, while listening to music, but ATENTION! only sweet things...

Music, Movies, and Books

One my favorite movies is denifetely "I am Sam", I have enjoyed it since I was a kid, altough I don't really like seeing the same movie over and over again.
One of the best books I've read is "El cuaderno de Maya" by Isabel Allende, and probably "Lo que dicen tus ojos" by Florencia Bonelli, but it's really difficult to establish my favorite. I've also read "Harry Potter", some of "Game of Thrones", "El beso de la mujer araña!, etc.
I have troubles with music, I love listening to it, but I get bored really quick. And generally I don't like the whole band, only a few themes. I love listening to music from all over the word such as Caetano Veloso, Natiruts, The Beatles, Onda Vaga, Frero Delavega, Joyce Jonathan, Ed Sheeran, Spinetta, Sabina, Amy Winehouse, among others. I really enjoy electronic music parties.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been a part of the project "Humanae" by Angelica Dass. She is a photographer and this project is her way to see the world. By giving each person a specific color according to their skin in a color palette and then taking a picture. She says that when someone sees all the pictures together, that person doesn't from where are the people photographed, their sexuality, their religion or the many they earn. And that's how I think we should see the world, by accepting each other without making a negative difference if they are not like you.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to know how to take great pictures!
I would love to teach some spanish, and how to make crafts! It's messy but enjoyable!
I would love to share my life and experiences with people that also want to share the same!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my life and experiences with mi family and friends.
I can share my culture, that it is really particular, and that I love and hate at the same time.
I can share a fernet from Córdoba...
I can share my cooking...
I can share my language.
And I can share moments, that's what I really would like!!!
