About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Getting my Master's degree. Simple as that. :D
ABOUT ME

PHILOSOPHY
If something seems intimidating at first glance, stop and ask yourself:
"Can it kill me?"
If the answer is no, things are only half as bad. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've only hosted once and it was a positive experience. I still have to experience couchsurfing myself but I am looking forward to it.
Interests
I love travelling. A LOT. Meeting all kinds of people and experiencing new environments and countries makes me happy. (I am also a language geek. I have an indomitable desire to learn new languages.)
I love nature. (Well duh, I am currently studying biology so that is a given. ;)) And I love to go outside. Even if I get dirty or wet.
You want someone to go on a day long hiking trip in the middle of nowhere? I'm your gal.
Other interests are singing, art, music (every kind of music) and a couple of other things. (Gotta try and keep this short. xD)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a Disney fan through and through but I don't scoff at animated movies from different producers. Other than that I like comedies, documentaries and right now I am doing a Western marathon. :D
The Six of Crows duology were two of those books that had me absolutely captivated. I couldn't put it down and I was (and still am) sad that there's only two books. But all good things have to come to an end.
Aurora Rhapsody is another favourite, the characters are thought out and 3-dimensional and the romance is not forced or cliché. I am absoultely in love with this series and I recommend it to everyone even remotely interested in sci-fi. :,D
And last but not least, the Twelve Kings in Sharakhai. The last book has been released not too long ago and I can't wait my to get my hands on it. Fantasy with a strong female protagonist who wants what she wants. Yes please.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Slept under the star-lit sky near Spitzkoppe (Namibia)
Dove into a grotto in Kroatia with no equipment (while on a sailing trip there)
Hiked through the Costa Rican jungel and swam in the open ocean while searching for humpback whales
Teach, Learn, Share
I am incredibly curious by nature, especially when it comes to languages.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Obviously my couch but also (and most famously) my cooking skills. I love food and there's only little I wouldn't at least try once. If people are interested I can always cook up some traditional Austrian dishes or something else but equally delicious. :D
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Namibia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
