About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hello !! My current mission ?! To continue living in Toulouse I suppose, because I like it quite a lot here.
ABOUT ME
I have the sense that I'm too young to know exactly "what I do in life" but I do lots of things, what I think is right, I follow things that I think are exciting and interesting or beautiful, sometimes. I play music a lot and listen to music a lot I write and read. I teach English but if all goes well, next year I'll be back in school (in Toulouse) for a masters in political science.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is crazy i.e. great and incomprehensible most of the time, except for the moments when it's comprehensible, which come not very often and create these little bursts of crazy brain-stimulation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to CS! But I've travelled a lot and stayed with various people in the past and also have hosted various people and acquaintances. I even lived in a truck for awhile while WWOOFing and that was actually the most fun travel experience I've ever had despite the fact I was always cold and hungry and my back hurt. The people were just really awesome and I grew up a lot during that time. I'm thankful to have met the people I've met since I came to France, or, well, always, for that matter. And I am excited to continue meeting people... and hearing their stories...
Interests
Interests !! Well, reading books and philosophizing. Writing down stuff I hear in the buses. Listening to the stories people love to tell the most. Music. Good beer with good company.

Music, Movies, and Books
Progressive rock a lot these days. The old favorites are Beethoven piano sonatas and symphonies, Rossini, Led Zeppelin, Funk, lots of jazz (i never get sick of coleman hawkins, charlie parker, ella fitzgerald, art blakey, dizzy).
Movies - I like them, yes
Reading - well ! Hobbes-Leviathan, Voltaire, David Foster Wallace, Milan Kundera, Hemingway (Sun Also Rises), Camus
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Practically burned my feet on that squeaky white sand of the southern coast of Maine every summer when i was a kid and then got swept under the tide before coming up for that first gasp after so many long seconds, time after time after time.
