ABOUT ME

I did my fair share of travels and it all started out with a one year work and travel in Australia. That time changed me for good. I got bitten by the travelbug :D
However eventually I went to university and started my degree in Astrophysics (soonish to be done). If I could I would definetly extend my travels going away from earth. But the option of going to Mars on a one-way doesn't sound too promising. There is still too much awesome stuff to see on this world, so I can't just leave for good :P
Studies limited my ability of doing a lot of extended travelling. But I used all chances I got to get out a fair bit. This brought me on several small trips through Europe and Colombia. Right now I made it to Toronto, Canada, where I will spend one month studying. And afterwards once it gets too cold in Canada I will go for further studying to Teneriffe to warm up a bit, before I finish my degree back in Bonn, Germany.

PHILOSOPHY

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mistery, but today is a gift!! Thats why they call it present ;) (By the way this is from Kung-Fu Panda :D I do like kids movies! Well also a bunch of other movies, but hey :D)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In Australia I started my couchsurfing experiences. So far they were all really good. I love all the Hosts I had! (Thanks to all of them again at this stage!)
However i have not been able to couchsurf for a long time. I did participate in the local activities in Bonn and Cologne for a while but got eventually to the point where time didn't permit it anymore. However, I am always keen on getting back to it if I manage to find the time.

Travelling, well obvious or I wouldn't be here.

Team Sports especially Team Handball. I am a goalkeeper and for everyone who doesn't know Handball... I feel so sorry for you! It is the most exciting sport also for just watching it.

Reading (Harry Potter nerd... But otherwise I enjoy a whole bunch of books. Especially thrillers :) Karin Slaughter is great ;)_

Space, Stars, Planets awesome stuff that is much bigger than us. Did I mention that I study astrophysics? Really everything related to this is just awesome. Wondering who we are, where we are and where we come from... I think everyone does that and well i am on my way making it my profession :)

Music: basically everything. I am really not good at music but i like to sing (for myself... I don't want to kill people) and listen to almost any kind of music. Queen and the waifs are the most notable Bands if you happen to find my Ipod (which I rarely give away. You know playlists are personal and stuff ;)

Movies and Books:
Almost everything? Funny thing though: Horror and Psycho... I love it in books and hate it in movies ;)

I am always interested in learning new stuff. And I love new experiences if it comes to food. So if you happen to know some awesome recipe you think I have to know: please share it!!
