About Me
Hi!
I am currently living in Italy for my quintessential, millennial year abroad. I have been to Europe a handful of times before this (some of my relatives live in the Netherlands), but this is my first time without the good ol' parents.
I study art history and enjoy movies and overeating. Sometimes I think I'm a reincarnation of Tarrare.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To shake a tail feather with people I might not meet again but hopefully will remember forever.
Interests
Movies, good and bad. Walking so long my feet hurt. Getting tipsy at my flight's gate while I wait for what seems to be more than two hours. (Ryanair inspired Waiting for Godot)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a snobby New Yorkian genre called "alt-lit", and all those new fictions by David Eggers and writers of that ilk. I also like funny memoirs, graphic novels, and reading scary stories on Reddit.
In terms of music the only things I can think of right now is Rockabilly music and Devendra Banhart. But really I like everything. Truly. 4'33 to country to harsh noise.
Movies. I try to watch a movie every day or every other day. Let's not play the "have you seen ____" game but we can geek out as much as we can.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I surfed on a trashcan lid in Indonesia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can explain the what the the Philadelphia DIY scene is, and I can tell you 1000 reasons why pho is the best comfort food.
(I am learning coding, embroidery, clay modeling, and can impart fun facts about AbEx artists!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Probably some fruit and anecdotes about living in gluttonous, grandiose, and glib America.
I can wash dishes and fold laundry pretty A-Ok.
Countries I’ve Visited
France, Indonesia, Italy, Netherlands, Spain
