ABOUT ME

I am an indie-folk musician living in Austin, Texas. I'm a proud introvert though if I'm in a certain mood I can be very extroverted and silly. I'm a big reader and love both literature and non-fiction. I love learning about the world through books.

I'm interested in living a healthy, happy life, which for me includes a vocation I love, loving and real relationships that help me grow, healthy vegan food and living in a city I love. I'm at a place in my life where I know what I want, and am ready to dig in and become more responsible to the people around me and the world. That's the plan anyway.

I work as a nanny and love kids.

I'm obsessed with cooking and spend most of my day scheming about the next meal. One of my favorite things to do is come home after work, pour a glass of wine and cook for hours. Makes me so happy.

I couchsurfed two times many years ago in Canada. It was great!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Northern Lights in The Yukon was one of the most beautiful moments of my life. We built a campfire along a river and lay down around it to wait. And then slowly but surely the snaking green lights appeared in the sky, got more intense and lasted for hours. Coursing across the entire sky!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am well-versed in music and can teach guitar. I am very interested in creativity and can share my techniques for increasing mine. I make videos on creativity that I post here: http://www.youtube.com/user/JuliaLucilleMusic?feature=watch.

Lately I'm interested in learning more about gardening and how to plant food and feed yourself. I'm always interested in food and recipes I've never heard of.
