Hi, I'm Julia and I'm from Brazil, but I'm currently living in Germany - I work as an Au Pair and live with a host family in the Munich region.

I'd like to think that I'm an uncomplicated person - I'm very easy going and open-minded! I took the oportunity to come to Europe and live my dream that is to travel the world and experience different cultures. So far, it's been more rewarding than I could've ever hoped!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel like Couchsurfing is the best way to learn while travelling, since we get to stay with people that actually live in the places we're visiting, and I'd love to get familiar with new cultures and ways of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

My personal taste in music leans more towards the Pop/Indie-pop side, but I listen to and enjoy everything that might be playing!

I love watching Documentaries (literally about anything!) and Drama is my favourite movie genre, Kill Your Darlings being my favourite.
My favourite tv shows are Shameless, My mad fat diary, and basically everything that is more true to reality, those always get me hooked.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've moved to another country! (And I'm learning German!) (Yes, that by itself is already amazing. German is so difficult??)
I've been to my favourite artists live concerts
I made friends with people through said artists and in said concerts - and now I have lots of cool stories to share!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer good talks and a homecooked meal if I'm allowed to use your kitchen!
