About Me

Hey there,

I'm Julian, 31 years old and an artist from Berlin, Germany.

I studied fine arts in Oregon 9 years ago and wanted to see the west coast again ever since. Here in Berlin my friends and I run the artist collective "Drink and Draw Berlin" as which we organize art classes, exhibitions, gigs and other events. As part of the project I'm working as a drawing teacher, tattooist and event manager.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Together with my girlfriend Helen and my brother Raphael I'll be travelling to California in November and we'd love to connect with nice and chill locals - especially artists from LA and San Francisco. We are super easy going, social, very curious about the local creative scene and can't wait to meet new people.

About my fellow travelers: Helen just graduated in education sciences, has American relatives and also works for our artist collective. My brother is a studied psychotherapist and DJ in his free time. We all speak fluent English by the way and have been to the states before - now CA calls us!
