Hi! My name is Julian Dreiman, and I am from Boulder, Colorado USA. I have been fortunate enough to travel to much of the world, and I love sharing cultures (and food), building friendships, and trying new experiences. Outside of traveling my passions include reading, cooking, and mountain sports. Some of my favorite authors are Patrick Rothfuss and Haruki Murakami and I love to read/learn about the Cold War and the Soviet Union. In terms of cooking, I have wide experience but my two favorite dishes are veggie breakfast burritos and margarita pizza. For sports, I like to trail run, ski, bike, hike, climb and am always up to try something new!

He tenido la suerte de viajar a gran parte del mundo, y me encanta compartir culturas (y comida), hacer amistades y probar nuevas experiencias. Aparte de viajar, mis pasiones incluyen la lectura, la cocina y los deportes de montaña. Algunos de mis autores favoritos son Patrick Rothfuss y Haruki Murakami y me encanta leer/aprender sobre la Guerra Fría y la Unión Soviética. En cuanto a la cocina, tengo amplia experiencia, pero mis dos platos favoritos son los burritos vegetarianos para el desayuno y la pizza margarita. Para los deportes, me gusta correr, esquiar, andar en bicicleta, caminar, escalar y siempre estoy dispuesto a probar algo nuevo!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because I am excited to experience a new style of travel. In the past, I have always had the best experiences when traveling off the beaten path while getting to know locals and their culture. I hope that Couchsurfing will bring me more of these great experiences, and I am ready and excited to open my home and share my culture and passions with other travelers.

In a 24 hour period in Andorra, I summitted the countries' highest peak and accidentally biked a stage of the Tour de France.
