About Me
Hey everyone!
my name is Julian, currently living and studying in Bielefeld (Germany). In the next semester I will do a semester abroad in Finland to gain more international experience and deepen my knowledge in Sociology.
My girlfriend and me are doing a trip from Germany (Mülheim an der Ruhr) to Finland (Helsinki). I would be glad if someone can offer us a place to sleep on our way (check my public trips).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet new people, escpecially locals, when I am in a new country. This is always a good opportunity to get some advice about special and hidden places, not the typical touristic ones.
Interests
I would love to find out more about different countries/ cities and especially the people there. Culture might be one of the most interesting influencers in Sociology and further part of my personal interest. That might be the reason why travelling is so appealing to me.
- culture
- music festivals
- politics
- technology
- movies
- traveling
- bouldering
- music
- basketball
- science
- social science
- debating
- watching series
Music, Movies, and Books
In terms of music I like a lot (ranging from Electronic to Rap), but mostly listening to rap-artists like G-Eazy for now. It's quite hard to define the "favorite" Movie, so I will just leave it open for a later discussion between host-me. Finally one of my favorite books is e.g. Brave New World, however there are hundreds more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living and working in Australia for almost one year.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My knowledge about politics/ social sciences or how to debate about basically anything. Moreover I can share my experience in other countries like Australia or my homecountry Germany. Also my cooking skills are pretty ok :)
