I'm Julian, 24 years old and from Germany. I study Tourism Management in Breda, in the Netherlands. After finishing my education in Germany I traveled and worked in and through New-Zealand, when I started studying in the Netherlands, I spent my exchange in beautiful Granada, Spain, and my internship in Cologne.

I am open minded, like to meet all kinds of people and talk about everything important or also nothing. I like cooking, eating, having a glass of water or wine when just chatting, I enjoy the sun and the wind, as well as design, photography, and so many more forms of art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people, see how they live, and understand them and the place where they live. Hopefully, that also means that I get to know myself better, and can find new interests and passions. Also, traveling shouldn't be as expensive as it sometimes is, which makes me wanting to try out this less capitalistic form of sharing. If I could let someone stay at my place, I also would.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like loads of different kinds of music, e.g. some classics from the 70s/80s/90s, as Fleetwood Mac, or Talk Talk, Billy Idol, Peter Gabriel, UB40, Talking Heads, The Eagles etc. Moreover, I also like more modern Artists, e.g. Jungle, Tame Impala, MGMT, Parcels, Cigarettes after Sex, Gizmo Varillas, and so on.
Of course some Rock or Pop also never hurts.

Books I like are either somewhat Thrillers or utopian/dystopian.
And movies can also be really diverse, I enjoyed watching Django Unchained, Interstellar, Interception, LOTR, the Nice Guys, and lots more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn all kind of things, especially in being creative in all kind of forms, or maybe speaking the local language or preparing some meals!
