About Me

Hey,
---------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT: My account is from 2012, but I started using CS unfortunately this month! I lived until July with a friend (Rune) and a small family (two students and two children) in a small house with little space. Rune had a lot of CS people so there was no real chance for me hosting people. Rune started earlier with CS. I also used to travel with quite big groups of friends and so I didn't use CS!:( ;) I spent time with his couch surfers and we cooked a lot as Rune and I cook most of the time together!
---------------------------------------------------

I am Julian and I am at the end of my studies of psychology. For me it is important to get to know people who think about alternatives ways of living. Ways which try to foil manifestations of power like political and monetry power, racism and sexism.

Nonetheless I am a person who likes to laugh and I tend to be comical!:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know countries and cities in a different way than only staying in hostels. I am interested in normal life and not that much in touristic life!:)

I got to know couchsurfing in my living community where quite a lot of people stayed and it was a pleasure to get in touch with different people.

Interests

I like doing sports (swimming, hiking, climbing, soccer).
I like dancing.
I sometimes play piano and saxophon.

In the last years topics like racism and sexism got very important for me and I am interested in ways how we all can handle and fight them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For myself the stay in Southeast Anatolia in August 2012 was amazing. We went by train in 30 hours from Ankara to Tatvan. I travelled with a friend. We got to know so nice people. At that time I really realized that travelling is a privileg. People were so interested in other countries but had no chance to travel.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach swimming techniques!;)

I like to improve my Saxophone skills. Would be a pleasure to jam.

My home is yours.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to cook for them and I'm interested in what they do and I like to share their and my experiences. Of course I could help in the household and I'd like to share stuff like food.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Italy, Morocco, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam
