About Me

+++ please read this first: love to host people, but Couchsurfing isn't meant to be a place for people who just don't want to pay for a hostel because they are on a party-trip to Köln. It's okay not to have references and an empty profile but then please tell me something about you and not just two sentences. +++

According to my friends I must be somewhere in between the sloth of Zootopia and Barney (Simpsons) ;) . Apart from that I am working in online marketing for a small company. I love adventures and travelling, mostly on a rather spontaneous notice without too much planning beforehand. I love to meet people from all over the world and give back some of the hospitality I once received.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

- have a great time staying with locals
and learn about their culture, customs, favorite places and food
- I want to give something back in the form of hospitality
- get a pure experience without any commercial intention behind (meet people who host you because they want to and not because you pay them)

Interests

- hiking and camping (love this feeling when you climbed to the summit of a volcano with the steam and smell of sulfur around you)
- all kind of sports (Handball, Volleyball, Soccer, Gym, Skiing, Snowboarding, Surfing

- Flora and Fauna
- BBQ and party

- Board Games
- Cooking

  • hiking
  • surfing
  • football
  • trekking
  • hanging out
  • chilling out
  • hiking in the mountains

Music, Movies, and Books

Most of the times I am listening to Rap music à la Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Tupac, Nas or some German artists. When I am travelling I usually prefer chill reggae music. I also do like rock-music.
My favorite movie is Django Unchained I guess.
My favorite book is "kite runner" by Khaled Hosseini.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Completing 8-day Huayhuash-Trek in Peru without a guide, carrying tent and food between 4.200 - 5.000 m.
- 3 Day climb to the summit of Mt Rinjani on Lombok, Indonesia
- Semester abroad in Yogyakarta, Indonesia
- Solo Couchsurfing through India and Iran
- Having to use my tongue to lick a grain of sand out of the eye-ball of a friend cause it got stuck in there
- Camping in the dessert in Iran
