About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I'm a calm, cooperative, uncomplicated and nice person, open minded, interested in exotic things and stuff under the surface.
I can be shy and maybe a bit freaky with all the unconventional things but I'm also humorous and seroious as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far.

Interests

Since I'm an instrument maker my biggest passion are all kind of instruments from all around the world. I play Double Bass, Sitar, Sarod, Rûbab, Piano and some others as well (e.g. Renaissance Lute, Tablas...). I also compose music, sometimes for video games and sometimes just for fun.
I love board and card games, new ones as well as ancient ones like Go. And some videogames of course.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm addicted to world music from all countries but mostly Indian, Arabic and Afghani, the traditional way or fusion. I also like classical music of all kind, especially baroque and romantic, another big thing I'm into is progressive rock, mostly from the 70s (Camel, Yes, Collosseum, King Krimson, Focus, Eloy, Novalis some krautrock...)

I like movies with different stories that are connected to each other like Magnolia, Crash, Could Atlas, Mr. Nobody. I also like Science-Fiction but the more calm ones like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Moon, The Man From Earth and Cyperpunk (Strange Days).

I read all kind of books (but often fantasy, short stories) except crime thrillers and I love poems.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learn to play Sitar and other exotic instrument and of course I could teach some of it.
