Overview
About Me
I'm a Brazilian nugget with a serious case of wanderlust. I moved to the United States in 2016 to live out my two biggest passions: neuroscience and traveling. I am constantly searching for wonderful human beings who are willing to discover the world with me. So if you're one of them, let's do this!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After traveling a few times with professional agencies, I've realized that the sheer overview of tourist spots was not going to cut it. In order to truly engage with the culture, I needed to connect with locals, discover the hidden secrets in town, and learn how to get from A to B without paying ridiculous amounts of money. This is where Couchsurfing came in.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is as eclectic (or confusing) as my personality. I can wake up listening to Sinatra and go to bed with some 2Pac. If you want to put music on, I'll most likely just start dancing off beat to whatever is playing. Sorry in advance.
I love reading, from classic novels to the back of cereal boxes - it's becoming a problem. We can bond over Dorothy Parker, Paulo Coelho, Bukowski, Vonnegut and how many calories a bowl of Cheerios have. You name it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I feel like I'm filling out my college application all over again. Perhaps I could start off from there: I quit medical school in Brazil and moved to the United States, where I'm majoring in Neuroscience and Biology. I'm not sure if that'd be considered amazing. In all honesty, I'm still looking for amazing people to help me out with some amazing adventures. I mean, If you're the slightest bit interested, let me know.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty good at sarcasm, dark humor, and bad jokes. You name it!
Also, if you'd like to learn some Portuguese, I'm your person.
