Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I m a passionate traveller and have lot of friends around the world. My actual home situation doesnt allows me to do an official couchsurfing, but I often recieve friends and friends of friends from diffrent countries. I stayed in many houses as well, while traveling in Europe, Mexico or USA. I did some solo travels and I do often artist residency stays, as I m a painter. I have friends in couch surfing community that are active hosts and hope one day could do the same.
I live from diffrent small jobs ex. construction works, garden maintenance, gallery assistant, curating art exhibition, teaching languages (slovak for foreigners and french) and from my own art as well.
I looking for meeting new people, new places and I m not that kind of traveller that wants to see everything. I prefere to stay longer in one place and discover the place, meet people and fell like home.
I did stay longer than 2 weeks in Xalapa, Mexico, Corpus Christii, USA, Sohra, Meghalaya, India, Nida, Lithuania, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Denmark.
Currently I m on my way to New York, where I will share a studio with a friend painter.
