About Me
Hello world ;) I'm Juliane from Austria. I'm 24 years old and recently I finished my studies in Social Work in Salzburg, Austria. I also quit my job as a carer for people with handicaps and the next months I'm planning to travel and enjoy life.
In autumn, I'm planning to move to Berlin for my master studies which I'm very looking forward to.
I would describe myself as a very open-minded person who is curious to meet people, to have good conversations and to share experiences. In contact with people, the essentials are for me: showing each other appreciation, being honest and taking things with humour ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because in my opinion the most precious thing in life is to meet new people and to grow by learning about their lifes, views and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all books of John Irving. Other authors I really appreciate are Martin Suter, Paulo Coelho and the Brontë Sisters.
I'm also a big fan of J.R.R. Tolkien - yes, my interersts of book genres is very widespread ;)
Music is a very important part of my life, it brings back beautiful moments and memories with my friends - on festivals, concerts or travels as well as in every day life. The kind of music I'm listening to is changing with my moods - right now I'm listening mostly to Indie Rock.
What to say about movies. I'm a big Harry Potter fan. Always :)
- The best movie I have seen for a long time: THE DANISH GIRL - i totally recommend it! To everyone!
