ABOUT ME
I am a 22-year-old brazilian girl. I study Cinema at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and I intend to finish graduation by December. Last year I've studied and lived in Salamanca, Spain, for 7 months, and that was how I first got in touch with Couchsurfing experiences. I'm completely excited about meeting new people and knowing their stories, experiences and cultures. That is why I've chosen Salamanca as destination, the city where I'd been settled for 6 months. There, in that "microcosm" of the world where being in a room with people from more than 20 different nationalities became usual, besides being charmed by the young atmosphere I saw growing my desire of knowing the world.
By spending that time in Europe, I decided that my main goal is to meet as many places as my legs can reach.
Well, some objective things about me: I'm an open-minded, fun, easygoing person who enjoys hanging out with different people. I'm very talkative, but also a good listener. I'm as helpful and comprehensive as I can be, and I one of the things I value the most is respect. I'm polite, clean and organized. I love chatting about anything, listening to some good music, watching good movies, eating, drinking, going out, laughing, taking pictures... I also love nature and love hiking and spending time in outdoor activities. That's it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm kind of new in CouchSurfing. I became more interested in it since I went to Salamanca and started to plan trips. Actually I've arrived at Salamanca already as a "surfer": by staying for 5 nights sleeping on a three unknown girls' couch, I think I became aware of this CouchSurfing spirit I have... But, for now, I think I can say I do not have much experience in it. I hope it changes in a short time! I also hope this doesn't repels possible surfers or hosts... :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm an eclectic person... Ok, I know this is an excuse for ordinary people, but I am really open-minded about the kinds of music, movies and books. Trying to be more specific: concerning movies, I particularly like the French, Italian and Brazilian ones. At music, I enjoy mainly rock, jazz, blues and brazilian music such as samba and MPB. About the books, the ones that excite me the most are romances and historic novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm pretty sure I can say that the best time in my life was last year, when I lived in Spain. Not only because of the place, itself, but also due to the amount of different people I met and the different places I travelled to. Besides, I can recite a few things and moments that became unforgettable: the happiness in Rio de Janeiro's street carnival, the day my soccer team won the championship and I was there, the spontaneous flashmob I participated in favor of disabled people in Sevilla, the strawberry ice cream I took in a small italian town called Orvieto, the freshness and pureness I felt when I got under amazing waterfalls in Chapada dos Veadeiros (National Park in Goiás, Brazil)...
Teach, Learn, Share
Well... about teaching and learning, I have to say I don't have anything specific to give. I'm learning to cook, so I think that can be something! But the main thing I think I've got to teach are my experiences, my opinions and my company - I must say I'm a good company to hang out with! On the other hand, I love to learn...! :)
