Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Spending my life doing the things I love, most of which happen to involve me spending time outdoors.
ABOUT ME
Currently living in South Lake Tahoe, boarding as much as I can in the winter/spring and climbing/hiking/swimming/frolfing as much as I can in the summer/fall. Outside of that I spend most of my time working on my start up businesses and working as a rope access technician.
PHILOSOPHY
Try to be conscious and respectful of your impact on all other beings. Everything else is up for personal interpretation!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have my own place and a couch that folds into a bed, so I'm interested in returning all the favors I had as a traveler! I'm pretty busy so its a toss up whether I have time to actually host, but reach out and if I can make it work I'm happy to be a host!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had a great time surfing and have hosted a group once. I also lived on a couch for about a year so Im quite comfortable on just about any design.

Teach, Learn, Share
I have taught music theory in the past, although I am pretty rusty now. I can teach anyone to play the drums, and little bits about guitar, sound production, and recording, although I still consider myself a novice at those. I can give tips on gardening, nutrition, cooking, and preserving foods, and how to make some herbal remedies. In my town I can teach foraging and some survival techniques, but not so much on the road.
I am eager to learn just about anything you have to offer, particularly anything practical such as building techniques, tool making, electronics, plumbing, etc. Im always on the lookout for new recipes, as well as the history and practice of agriculture in the given region.
I am very giving and am happy to share anything I have to offer, and happy to receive anything that is shared with me!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really enjoy cooking, have cooked professionally and have a wide understanding of dietary constraints and alternative cooking styles, so I'm always happy to prepare a meal in exchange for a place to crash. I can also share any climbing gear if I'm traveling with it, or be a ride along buddy on the mountains. And I'll also have some of my hot sauce with me as gifts!
