Like almost everyone I love to travel. My favourite thing is just meeting people from around the world and appreciating how diverse our world is. I think there is a lot to be learned from travelling both alone and with friends and I have spent a lot of time doing both. Self reflection is important but I also think nothing substitutes for the feeling of genuine human connection. We live in a beautiful world and I get very passionate about trying to protect it, I'm hoping to use the degree I am taking in chemistry to do something about the threat we have against our planet because losing the connection humans have with nature would be tragic.

I had the most amazing couple of days in Istanbul with Engin. We have become friends for life and I can't wait until he comes to England and I can host him.

Interests

I'm very passionate about music, I am in a band and we've written a demo EP. If I'm near music, I'm happy. I play a lot of instruments and just love to jam with people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think my greatest life achievement was kayaking 125 miles across England with my friends. It was so hard but I look back on it as the most worthwhile thing I've ever done.
