I'm currently a bit nomadic - I gave up my apartment and put all of my belongings into storage so I could travel in Europe.

As a Canadian, I can never be too far from nature, or I start to get a little nervous. 😄 I love camping and being outdoors, but I also love the man-made world. I'm a designer by trade, and I always view the world through a design lens. Art and design are huge passions of mine.

I'm loving getting to be a long-term traveller, and how much I'm learning about the world and about myself as I go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, and as a solo traveller, it's really important to make connections in the places that I visit. I don't always need a host but I do always need a friend!

I am unfortunately unable to host at this time, but I look forward to the near future when I will be in a position to receive guests.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, mostly listening to folk music these days, but any kind of rock is also good for me.

I don't read as much as I should, and I'm not a big movie person either! Don't ask me if I have seen a film, because the answer is probably no 😅 Despite this, I love film festivals and watching arthouse films or unusual documentaries.

I've been to the oldest city in Europe!
I got my first tattoo!
I climbed a mountain even though I had food poisoning, and then later climbed a mountain even though i had hikers' knee!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn about whatever this world has to offer me.

I like to teach about simple design principles that can be applied to everyday life. Design is always in everything around us, if you have the eye to see it!

I like to share experiences with others: for me, this world is a lot less about where you are and what you do, and a lot more about who you're with.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and I'm not too bad at it either! I'm a very neat and organised person and I always keep my spaces clean. I'm always happy to help around the house, to cook a meal together, to talk about art and design, or to just talk about life and culture.
