About Me

I love exploring the world, going on adventures, being silly and spontaneous, laughing, and discussing life, philosophy, literature, art, and anything else. My favorite part of traveling is unexpected adventures and finding awesome places and events that would never be in a tourist guide book. I try to take every opportunity I have for adventure. I love cats, colorful socks, hello kitty, modern art, crafts, ceramics, trying new foods, shopping at thrift stores, going to concerts, painting my nails bright colors, and eating chocolate!

I have lived in Ohio, Maryland, Texas, Nicaragua, and Spain. I am currently studying Spanish and Latin American literature in Seville, Spain. In the United States, I study public health and Spanish. I work at an after school center for underprivileged children.

I am currently studying abroad until the end of July and can't accept guests because I am living with a host family. I would love to host couchsurfers in August when I return home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people, see a culture through a native's eyes, and have a more "authentic" experience instead of just being any other tourist.
I also love sharing my own culture with anyone who is interested!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn about different countries, cultures, lifestyles, art and photography.
I am happy to answer any questions about places I have lived. At age 20, I feel a little young to have much deep knowledge to impart, but if there is anything you would like to learn about that I have mentioned in my profile, I would be more than happy to teach you about it.
If you are willing, I would LOVE the opportunity to cook for you! Some of my favorite foods are macaroni and cheese, tex-mex tacos, "fancy" ramen, tortellini with pesto, homemade hummus, gallo pinto with fried eggs, and chocolate chip cookies! I also love trying new foods!
