Let's see...I am organized and methodical about most things, but I have a sense of adventure and openness to new experiences. I make a lot of lists. I'm a bit quirky and introverted, but I have a great sense of humor and a good heart. I love to laugh--often uncontrollably until my stomach hurts and my eyes tear-up. :D

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am passionate about traveling and experiencing the culture of places and people I visit. I am looking for ways to connect beyond the merely "tourist" experience. Part of what I love about CouchSurfing is that it will allow me to get to know the places I visit from the perspective of people who live there--the reality and living identity of the place that you call home.

The self-starter, community-driven aspect of CouchSurfing also really appeals to me. I would really like to spend time with and get to know other people who recognize the importance of travel and exploration as a necessary part of life and personal growth.

At this time I am not set up with a home-base that I can accept guests into...but as soon as I am I would love to give back to the CouchSurfing community as a host.

Intereses

I don't even know where to begin, there are so many.

First and foremost, I am an avid reader--I read just about everything I can get my hands on. I also love music of just about every genre under the sun.
I love the outdoors and animals. Hiking, backpacking, and really just getting out into nature. I also like to explore more urban environments, any place is an adventure with the right attitude :)

I also love languages. I don't know many (proficient in Spanish, learning ASL), but I intend to change that--there are so many languages I want to learn. The way language opens a window into culture is both thrilling and awe-inspiring to me.

I also enjoy philosophy and am always up for a good discussion...or debate :)
