About Me
Hey there! My name is Julianne and I'm from the United States. I moved around a bit growing up - I've lived in New Jersey, Honolulu and Boston. I also spent four and a half months studying in Ecuador during university. I moved to Madrid a year and a half ago, where I work as an English teacher at an elementary school. I'm a bit of a culture junkie - I love music, movies and books. I'm a big fan of the beach and the outdoors in general, and I love catching the sunrise/sunset whenever I can.
*I'm not on Couchsurfing to date. I'm happily in a relationship, so please no flirty/creepy requests. Thanks!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While I'm living in Spain, I'm hoping to explore as much of Europe as I can and get to know people from all over the world! I love meeting new people and I much prefer staying with locals so I can experience a bit more of the daily life in the cities that I visit. I might be able to host some surfers on occasion - but I have to check with my roommates first. We're pretty new to hosting and would really prefer to host people who have some references.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Toured around the Galapagos Islands for a week :)
Also, I made a One Second Everyday video last year and would totally recommend it to anyone (especially if you'll be traveling!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpHbdlgKRyc&feature=youtu.be
What I Can Share with Hosts
English and some pretty good Spanish skills :) My diet is a bit restrictive (celiac, i.e. I can't eat gluten), but I'm happy to cook a gluten free meal if you're interested :)
