我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on CS because this seems like a place I can both meet new people in similar situations that I am in and also as it will allow me to not only travel a new place but also make a new friend or two on my trip. As the life of a freelance artist requires a lot of traveling CS allows for a more personal take on the situaiton. I believe people are the same we just need a reason or a push sometimes to connect. I am here for those moments.

Travel is very romaticized, idyllic but also it can be lonely and brutal. A lot of people here talk about the joy of travel but personally it is something I love to do but fear doing as well. I fear the unknown, the vast and the unpredictable. I am at the moment reading Into the Wild (the book is better than the movie, trust me) and what this book does so beautifully is the indepth feeling of a profound lonelieness, the facts and the adventures of trvelers throughout the years. It strips away the romantic and the perfect to a natural and realistic portrayal of our world as it is and the challenges one must overcome as a human. READ IT!!!!!
