Overview
About Me
Some of my hobbies include hiking, golfing, kayaking, soccer, and photography. I love trying new foods and I live for fulfilling conversations.
I studied international business and marketing, and I currently work in marketing consulting.
I know I will never have enough time to experience or appreciate every place, person, idea, food, song or creation this planet has to offer.. but I'm going to make a go of it...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The Couchsurfing community offers a social aspect to travel that is invaluable to me. I love to make connections wherever I go. I have made quite a few friends since joining and I am very thankful for that. I have surfed across Western Europe, as well as attended many CS meetups, potluck and boardgame nights here in Iowa. I'm always interested in meeting up to play soccer or just to hang out and grab some food/drinks.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy videos and books that inspire and educate. I have a soft spot for Calvin and Hobbes and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I listen to all kinds of music. Some of my favorite movies are: Pulp Fiction, Memento, the Truman Show, the Matrix, Abbott and Costello, One flew over the Cuckoos Nest..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've skied above the clouds in Jackson Hole, trekked across Zion NP, hanglided in Switzerland, scuba dove in the Mediterranean, slept on the beach during Cannes Film Festival, I've bathed elephants in Thailand, hiked with H'Mong women in Vietnam, cooked bamboo sticky rice in Malaysia, got lost in Tokyo...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share things I know about photography, marketing, hiking, finance, business operations, cooking, and probably lots of other things! I am always trying to learn something new. Currently I'm learning the ukulele.
