About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explored the world!

ABOUT ME

I describe myself as a easy going person, very open mind who loves meeting new people and learn from them.

About my character, I could be very serious, and very crazy, it depends of the situation. But I always try to be honest with myself and with people.

Currently I'm living in Castro Urdiales, my hometown.

I've just came back from a year in London working as a nurse.
Before, I was living in Manchester, where I was working as a waitress and improving my english skills.

I really like to travel, I was living in Barcelona for 4 years as well, studying my degree. And I visited differents countries like Germany, Austria, Portugal, France, Serbia, Italy and Greece.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that we live in a caotic world. I don't believe in destiny.

Meeting new people, living new experiences, can change your plans of future.

About society, I don't like the first world way of life. I don't like consumism, I don't like narcissim I see everywhere and hedonism.

Curiosity and solidarity are essencial.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love travel. Sometimes I wonder why I like to travel that much. I thought it was because I need to go away from rutine for a couple of days. But it is more than that. I realised that it makes me feel alive, because travelling brings you the opportunity to see yourself miles away, in the time and place you are; so you have a global view about yourself and about your future plans. Also it brings you the energy and the motivation that was sleepy inside.

My first time as a surfer was in Germany, and I keep really good memories about that trip. We were three friends join time together after years been separated, and I cannot forget how amazing experience it was!

We were hosted by a really nice girl in Mannheim. We used to spend the whole day in other cities singing and playing guitar in the streets (well my friends, I just supported them ;) ). After all day out, we went back to Mannheim and we always had a lovely dinner together. Also we were hosted in Konstanz and Basel.

Interests

I like music. Music is my therapy and always follows me everywhere I am. I listen different kinds of music, but usually punk, garage, indie and rock'n'roll.

I like going out and enjoy time with friends.

I used to draw a lot when I was a child, and I've started again couple of years ago. Also I've started playing the guitar! and dancing swing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to watch films with my parents when I was a teenager. My favourite is film Little Miss Sunshine. I love Argentina's films and Spanish films. Martin Hache and Solas are in my top list.

It's difficult to say a favourite group of music. I don't have any idols, but if I have to choose 6 bands they will be Led Zeppelin, Eskorbuto, The Velvet Underground, The Specials, Mogwai, La Gossa Sorda.

About books, I should read more. The last book I've read is The Wrapes of Wrath and Huye hombre Huye.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 18 years old I won an European Prize and I travelled with students of differents countries of Europe to Zambia. It was the best travel ever, also it was an unique opportunity to see face to face the cruel reality and the injustice over there. It makes me change a lot.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learn from the people I meet. I love that people tell me their life's stories and adventures, it seems like you can live twice!

I think I'm not able to teach anyone. But I'm able to share time, experiences, and opinions about many things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share experiences, jokes, my opinion about life and the world...

I can prepare some spanish dishes! Or at least try it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland, Zambia

Countries I’ve Lived In
