CURRENT MISSION

My mission in life is to live in the now and follow my passions wherever they take me. I'm currently exploring my passion for archaeology and that is guiding my travels.

ABOUT ME

I am currently living my life by an Andrea Gibson quote, which says "I am who I am when I am it." I want to explore as many places as I can and spark as many new interests as possible. I am a naturally curious person and believe in committing myself fully to my current passions and moving forward when something new comes a long. I don't know what I want "to do with my life." I want to try a little of this, a little of that. I currently work in the mental health field but I want to start easing my way into archaeology. I want to learn how to farm. I want to find new ways to express myself artistically-- right now I'm doing a lot of collages and encaustic work. I love being outside-- hiking, kayaking, skiing, biking. I am willing to try almost anything and eager to learn everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am BRAND NEW to couch surfing. Generally I stay at hostels but they are becoming too expensive in some cities. Plus, I think couch surfing is a great way to meet people and get to know the city you're staying in.

Interests

I am almost always willing to try something new. I'm very outdoorsy, so I do a lot of hiking, biking, kayaking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing. I also enjoy doing art-- I think of it as a kind of meditation. I care about my body so I try to exercise and stay strong, eat healthy. I love to cook and I'm always trying new recipes.
