Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet people, learn new things and have fun!
ABOUT ME
I grew up on a farm in the middle of the countryside, then moved to Glasgow (UK) to study Chemistry and Physics. I then moved to Edinburgh (UK) to study for a research PhD in Astronomy working on the instruments they use for ground and space based observations.
In between I've travelled to many countries and have been able to travel to more when working in research.
Now I work as a secondary school teacher, I've wanted to do it since I was little and am happy to finally be doing it.
I lived in Northamptonshire for a year and a half, but moved back to Edinburgh at Christmas (2013). Really glad to be back here now!!
PHILOSOPHY
Live, do and see- have no regrets by trying new things that come your way :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hoping to meet people on my travels to show me cities and advise me of places to eat (or not to eat!) and drink. In return I would like to show people my city and advise them of things to do, places to go, or places to live if they are coming for a longer period of time.
Interests
Lots of things including sports, music, dance, science, teaching, and trying crazy new things!! Mention a crazy thing you've done if you email me please so I know you've read my profile!
