About Me

I'm an English teacher, currently fulfilling my dream and doing a round-the-world trip. I write stories and take pictures of different places and people I meet on my way. I’m especially interested in unique communities and social projects which make the world better. I've been to 55+ countries, one of my favorite ones are Colombia, Mexico, Cambodia and Italy. I speak English, Spanish and Russian. I'm also passionate about dancing (salsa, bachata, tango, hip-hop, etc.), sports (scuba diving, running, pole sport, fitness, etc.) and literature. I'm also an AIESEC alumna, so if you are as well, we definitely have a lot in common.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm into traveling and do it a lot. I love meeting new people, having deep and sincere conversations or exploring places with locals. I'm an open-minded person, so I'd love to try unusual dishes or activities. I can't host you currently, but I'll be glad to show you around.
I’ve met many amazing people in couchsurfing, I believe it’s a powerful community where I can develop myself a lot.

Interests

I have my own website about conscious traveling where I post stories about people I met, articles with pieces of advice for other travelers and pictures from wonderful places I've been to.
You can have a look at it on smoltrip.com (it's only in Russian now, but I plan to translate it).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: reggaeton, salsa, bachata, champeta to dance.
Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran when I'm in a clam mood.
Movies: Bohemian Rhapsody, Intouchables.
Books: Russian writers (mostly Akunin), Chicken soup for the soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I could write something about scuba diving to shipwrecks or eating tarantulas or running my own start-up, but I'm a teacher and I think it's the most amazing part of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Russian or English, a bit of Spanish. I know a lot about education and can share funny and powerful stories about teaching. I have lots of stories about traveling as well. I adore my culture and enjoy sharing Russian traditions. I'm always passionate about learning how to dance something new. I wanna learn how to cook local dishes. I’m sure every person is a treasure and I learn something from each one I meet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My stories about travelling, my culture and, of course, food;)
Also I'm into photography, so I can take pictures of you if you want.
