About Me

Hi! I'm an adventurer / designer / poet from San Francisco. In the past, I co-founded a humanitarian AI startup that works with refugee communities in the Middle East and also design and build bamboo stages for music festivals. I'm currently living in Colombia designing and building bamboo + earth tiny homes.

I love music, adventuring and making things. I have a love / hate relationship with technology (will AI take over the world?) and humanitarian system.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore different places, meet interesting people, understand new points of view.

I'm specifically curious about local artist, activist, and entrepreneurial communities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I collaborated with the chief of a village and four entrepreneurs to build a solar charging center in Tamale, Ghana. Now four women run a solar charging center (and keep all the profits!) and 500 people have access to sustainable light and renewable energy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've created a small, watercolor painting for every host I've stayed with to celebrate and remember our time together. I've uploaded some examples of this on my photos!
