ABOUT ME
Hi There, Originally from Perth, Australia. Now living in Green Mountain state of Burlington Vermont!
PHILOSOPHY
Start before you're ready
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have primarily participated as a surfer. I lived in a jam packed house in Perth, but now I live with my partner we potentially have a room on our fold out futon in the living room, depending on our schedule we may be able to host on weekends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Pacific west coast, USA. (Sanfrancisco, Portland, Seattle)
UK (Shaftesbury, Glasgow)
Interests
Bicycle exploring, reading in cafes, hiking, rogaining (extreme orienteering, just in case), outdoor movies, pretending I know stuff about wine, theatre. I also love cooking and sharing new foods and work a weekend markets for a goat cheese farm.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: American Pastoral - Phillip Roth, Freedom - Jonathon Franzen
Movies and Music: So depends on mood! Although if my dvd shelf is anything to go by, I like cult dramas, English comedies and harry potter... I hope I haven't just done myself a disservice
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share
- slow cooking know-how
- small bar and café hopping
- the best cycle routes
- my group of ridiculous book club friends
- couch and wine company
Through agriculture I hope to be involved in saving the world by:
- reducing (food) waste (but really waste of all kinds)
- reconnecting people with the wholefood system
- self sufficient living skills and service learning for children
- improving welfare in meat production
- starting my own kangaroo farm! (its so lean and protein filled and sustainable!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, and good pointers to the best food/coffee/'spots' around town. I take some pride in investigating new local foodie institutions whenever they pop up on my radar. Possibly some hiking, weather permitting and strolls round the farmers market
