About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Eat, drink, and carry a GPS! Trading a life of stuff for a life of adventure...
ABOUT ME
In reality the I is a we... We are Julia and Marc. I am the Julia half and meeting me pretty much guarantees meeting Marc. (We are one of those annoying couples who actually like each other). One day I had an epiphany...why was I spending my life in a cubicle waiting to take my next vacation? So we sold everything and retired to Budapest, Hungary. Now we spend every day trying to live like we are on vacation.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is what you make of it. Very rarely does anyone die at exactly the right time. Most die too soon, some die too late...so LIVE your life but don't be selfish about it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: sorry no horror...but I love a good comedy, a good historical film, and the occasional action adventure flick.
Music: anything from the 80's, a lot of the rock classics, mellow jazz, and most classical.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rescued injured hikers from the top of Pikes Peak.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Orienteering, basic bicycle maintenance, home beer brewing, general biology, some esoteric military skills (ok so our entire life wasn't spent in a cubicle), mountain search and rescue, and SCUBA diving.
Learn: bicycle wheel building, how to be less structured in life, and how to tango.
