About Me

I am currently traveling around New-Zealand, looking for Hobbits and a nice place to settle down for a few months.

I'm the one doing silly faces in all of your pictures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard a lot about how couchsurfing is the greatest opportunity ever to get to know new interesting people and discover the places you visit, so I always wanted to try it !

Interests

Like probably everyone here, I like traveling to- and visiting new places, meeting new people and living new experiences.

You might wanna keep me away from anything with readable content, because I'll literally stop and read through anything on my passage.

I like walking and hiking, climbing trees and rocks (keep those away from me), swimming and started thai boxing a few months ago (though I had to stop recently).
I'm very fond of animals, nature and the outdoors in general.

I also like cooking and baking (but can never follow a recipe to the end so I tend to twist them to fit my tastes quite a bit), my apple crumble and tarts are pretty well-liked, haha.

I like funny socks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to lots of things, without real disctinction. Currently I'm listening to a mix of Of Monsters and Men, Florence + The Machine, Woodkid, Bastille, Imagine Dragons or Mumford & Sons. I'm open to new things if you have any !

The last great movie I saw was "La Isla Minima" (from Alberto Rodríguez), a beautifully filmed, pretty dark spanish thriller.

I am a big fan of J.J.R. Tolkien's work, especially "Lord of the Rings" and "The silmarillion" which I love, and could probably talk your ears off about it if you ever ask me about them. I like making fun of the Hobbit-movies, because let's face it, they were hilariously poorly made (I love the LotR movies though).
One of my favourite authors is Fred Vargas.
I'd read pretty much everything you'd give me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably that one time I named my pet turtles Raphael, Leonardo, and Donatello.

Teach, Learn, Share

My motto is "Never stop learning".

I can help with cooking or gardenwork, or with French or German homework if you have any, haha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope I can have good times and laughs with other couchsurfers and hosts, and would love to share tales and talents !
