About Me

Open minded. Daydreamer. Both dog and cat person.

Book enthusiast, foodie, sea lover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it has given me the chance to meet new cultures, be open to anything and learn to trust people.

Interests

Well, I founded a book club in my city some years ago and with time it expanded to other cities. We have 38 active members!
I led the book club for almost four years and I recently passed the direction to a loving friend who's also a bookstagramer. She's being doing an excellent job!
Sessions are in Spanish.
We have online meetings and in-person. For more info check @clubentrelineas.ctg on Instagram.
It's free!

Food food food! Always trying new things. Probably is the best part of travelling: understanding culture through delicious food.
I used to be a chef but I retired (I'll tell you the rest when we meet 😅). Now I cook for my family and myself.

Going to the beach (my paradise). The sea is were I can live to the fullest. It's quiet and peaceful.

Music, Movies, and Books

Deephouse, rock, electro pop, progressive trance, reggae, indie pop. One of my fav songs is Sometimes from Miami Horror, it always gives me a good mood.
I hate vallenato.
I like dancing, I'm not the best one but I'm usually in the mood.

Fight Club
The Fifth Element
Snatch
Pulp Fiction
Her
Ex-machina
The Man from Earth

The Catcher In The Rye - J.D Salinger
The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared - Jonas Jonasson
The Garden of Doubts - Fernando Savater
Saki stories (♡)

Any book/article/magazine (I love Arcadia) that makes me think about humanity and our origins (Maps of Time - David Christian), psychology, society, and what comes after life.

Also I'm in a lifetime journey to understand evilness and the notion of power.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tried magic mushrooms with a friend while in Amsterdam, but then we got stuck inside a park and had to call the police to get us out (still with effects). They were very kind.

I met Salman Rushdie in a car and played Silvio Rodriguez music for him to listen. He liked it.

I've scuba dive with rays while in San Andrés.

I've done 15m (freediving) hahah that's actually nothing, but for me it's huge! I used to be scared of the sea for a long time.
